When you create a giveaway, you can offer recipients a selection of products to choose from rather than sending everyone the same item. This is perfect for swag campaigns where people might prefer different colors, styles, or product types.
How choices work
Each choice represents an option that recipients see on your giveaway landing page. A choice has a name (like "Blue T-Shirt" or "Welcome Kit") and contains one or more products with specified quantities. When a recipient selects a choice, they receive all the products assigned to it.
For example, you might create:
- Choice A: "Comfort Package" — 1 hoodie + 1 pair of socks
- Choice B: "Classic Tee" — 2 t-shirts
Recipients pick one, and that's what ships.
Adding choices to your giveaway
Open the giveaway builder or edit an existing giveaway from your Giveaways list.
For each choice you want to offer:
- Enter a choice name — this is what recipients see, so make it clear and descriptive
- Select one or more products from your inventory
- Set the quantity for each product (must be at least 1)
- Add another choice if you want to offer more options
You must have at least one choice with at least one product to save your giveaway.
Each choice name must be unique within the giveaway. You cannot have two choices both called "Option 1" — give each a distinct, descriptive name.
Tips for effective choices
- Keep names short but clear — recipients should immediately understand what they're getting. Names can be up to 255 characters, but shorter is better.
- Bundle thoughtfully — a choice can include multiple products at different quantities, which is great for kits or themed packages.
- Check your inventory — make sure every product you add to a choice is active and in stock before launching.
You can edit choices after creating a giveaway, but changes won't affect entries that have already been submitted.
Next steps
Once you've configured your choices, you can personalize the rest of your landing page. See Customizing your giveaway landing page to add your logo, adjust the messaging, and preview how recipients will experience the selection process.
